'Summary of 21 Lessons For The 21st Century' Summary of the book How do you prepare your children for the year 2050? Or even the year 2100? It’s a great question, especially because nowadays, no one knows what the world will even look like then. Historically, humans could make at least decent assumptions about where the world was headed. But in today’s fast-paced, technology-fueled civilization? Forget it! However, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth giving our best to prepare for an uncertain future. In 21 Lessons For The 21st Century, Yuval Noah Harari helps us do just that. After his previous bestsellers Sapiens, which explored the human past, and Homo Deus, which focused on our distant future, his latest book is about our biggest challenges in the here and now and how we can deal with them. Here are 3 from his 21 lessons to help us and future generations thrive in the 21st century: 1. Whoever owns the data wins, which is why everyone struggles for it. 2. We don’t know, we just think we do – and that’s a problem. 3. Education must show us how to navigate information, not give us more of it. Are you sometimes worried about the future? Don’t fret, let’s prep! (fourminutebooks.com)

Book Name : 21 Lessons for the 21 century Writers Name : Yuval Noah Harari The process of finding answers first comes by asking better questions. This book helps you ask better questions. ’21 Lessons for the 21st Century’ explores 21 lessons that we need to question and debate in our world. They are questions of the past. How we have come to this point? But also questions of the future. What will our future look like, if we continue on the same path? This book builds upon his previous two books, which are well-known at this point. The interesting thing that I found from this book in particular is the fact that whether we like it or not we all share the same problems. Borders are a thing of the past. What we are experiencing in our corner of the world is also a problem for humanity at large. This brings up a wider question of nationality and identity? Fear, disillusionment, misinformation and inequality are common issues in every society and it is our duty as citizens to address these at their core. Fundamentally I think that this books shares principles with other books such as ‘Factfulness’ and ‘Selfie’, when it comes to analysing our societies. What I would say about this book, like others in the same genre, is that they address questions not with an answer but with further questions. The process of finding answers first comes by asking better questions. This book helps you ask better questions. Let me know if you have read this book, or any of his others in the comments. 👇

We, all are living in 21 century. In this century every moment is changing. No, I am not indicating about 'real' change. I just want to remember you all that technology already brought a great revolution in every aspec of our life. Regarding Develop, underdevelop or developing nations. More or less we are in a chain. This chain is not visible through your eyes.Technology - this is the invisible chain around us. 2nd decade of 21 century is running. In last century who have imagined about the very fast progress of technology? This is the point. In this point the whole book of Yuval Noah Harari is based on. What will be the upcoming decades?which features are going to impress or hallucinate us? Is those upnext technological progress gonna challenge us by the larger use of Artificial Intelligence? How we can cope up with those changes? All these answers you can get by reading this book. But.. Harari observed this century as a worshipper of 'hardcore' Capitalism. Everything he saw from American or British perspective. Readers from non-European countries may find some ideas and writings totally irrelevant and not easily understandable. Harari tried to create a fearing atmosphere! How? He analyzed techonological progress with a hypothesis. His thought was with the development of technology, all sphere of our day to day life are going to controlled by technology. An unknown 'fear' is waiting for whole humankind. In next decades technological progress will make our living difficult by different aspects. Harari is an extraordinary writer. His observation is quite amazing. He already proved his ability by writing 'Sapiens'. But in this book Harari cannot make the best use of his talent. This book is comparatively less brighter than 'Sapiens' and 'Homo Deus'.
